MUMBAI: A year has passed after the largest and the biggest terror attack in Indian history. An attack that drew wide spread condemnation and shook not only Mumbai but the ripples of which were felt across the whole world.

As part of the special programming initiative, 94.3 Radio One captures experiences of survivors, rescuers, victims, police officials and family members of those who lost their loved ones on the fateful night of 26/11.

Last week as part of the morning show, Radio One featured people like Hemant Baudankar - Asst Inspector who shot and injured one terrorist at Chowpatty and was also responsible for capturing Kasab, Vishnu Zende - The lone Railway Announcer spotted both the terrorists throwing grenades and firing bullets but did not stop the announcement by guiding people at the right exits and Uday Tatkare - the Chief Fire Officer who rescued people inspite of being constantly fired at.

On 26/11 this year Radio One continues to reinstate that we will neither forget nor forgive and salutes the people of Mumbai who irrespective of their caste, social classes or backgrounds stood by each other through these trying times.

The morning show on 26/11 will have MJ Prince from 7am-11am doing a live show from different locations in Mumbai like Leopold Café, Trident Hotel, Taj, Nariman House and OB's from Marine Drive as the Mumbai Police conducts its flag march.

The evening show will have MJ Prachi from 5pm to 9pm who would attempt finding answers to questions that every Mumbaikar has in his mind as she has heart wrenching conversations with people who have survived the 26/11 terror attacks and whose lives have been completely transformed after this horrific act of terror.

Speaking about the special programming initiative Rishi O.Kishnani - Programming Head Mumbai said, "Like all Mumbaikars, we at Radio One were extremely shocked by the horrific events of 26/11. We took it upon ourselves, as a station, to do something about it.

We started a campaign last year called 'One Spirit, One Mumbai' in which we spoke to various politicians and asked them when Mumbaikars will feel safe again. Mumbai needed answers and we managed to get them. We were the first Radio Station in Mumbai to interview the Chief Minister Mr Ashok Chavan and discussed security issues On Air. This year we plan to broadcast shows live from all the sites where the attacks took place. Our music jockeys will be speaking to people who were directly affected, right from where it all happened. This, we feel is not an activity; rather, it's our duty.
