BBC Worldwide has licensed the dance-based reality show, Dancing with the Stars, to Indonesia (IVM).
IVM, Indonesia's national commercial broadcaster, plans to broadcast its local version, entitled Dancing with the Stars, later this year.
IVM head of programming for Indonesia Triandy Suyatman commented, "The entertaining show Dancing with the Stars has already had major success in territories across Asia and we believe the show will prove to be every bit as popular with audiences in Indonesia. BBC Worldwide has a well-earned reputation for delivering hit programming and we are extremely pleased to be working with them on this exciting new show."
Dancing with the Stars, as it is internationally known, has been licensed to over 30 broadcasters across six continents including China, Chile, Russia and Australia. The most recent countries to license the format for the first time are Greece and Albania.
