New Delhi, Nov 8 (PTI) Direct-to-Home operator Reliance BIG TV is eyeing three million-subscriber base by the year-end, and will add 25-30 more channels by March 2010, taking its total channel offering to about 265.
At present, the company has a user base of over two million subscribers, and is working to rapidly expand DTH segment to tap more customers.
"The industry is now growing at a good pace and we should be closing the year with three million subscribers. We are strengthening our channel offerings, which includes regional content as well," Reliance BIG TV senior Vice-President Umesh Rao said.
BIG TV is also focussing on its pay-per-view (PPV) platform.
"Though PPV is nascent now, we believe it has a huge potential and can become a differentiating factor between players," Rao said.
