Breaking News : Acer launches Predator gaming series in India

Acer India has launched its global line of gaming series Predator in India. The launch includes diverse form factors of notebooks, desktops, projectors and gaming monitors.

Acer Predator 15 and 17 notebooks

The Predator gaming notebook come loaded with 6th Gen Intel Core i7 processors with NVIDIA GeForce graphics, ultra-fast DDR4 memory and PCIe solid state drives. The laptop comes with sporty red accents that compliment the black chassis with symmetric lines and soft texture coating for extra grip and gaming ergonomics.

The notebook also features 'Killer DoubleShot Pro', a new technology that enables ethernet and Wi-Fi connections to work together. The Predator 15 notebook line includes models with 15.6-inch Full HD or 4K (3840x2160) Ultra HD panels. While the Predator 17 notebooks feature 17.3-inch Full HD displays. Both lines support up to three displays including one NVIDIA G-SYNC monitor.

For extreme gamers, notebook sports Predator FrostCore, which allows them to further enhance their its performance as and when required. The new notebooks also feature the PredatorSense gaming control panel, which provides customization and control of gaming features, including macro programmable keys for up to 15 in-game shortcuts and adjustable lighting controls.

Acer Predator 15 and Predator 17 notebook lines will be available in India in satrting this month at an MRP of Rs 1,79,000.

Predator G6 and G3 desktops

Predator G6 and G3 desktops are powered by the latest 6th-gGeneration Intel Core i7-6700K processors. Running on the latest Windows 10 operating system, they come with 64GB of DDR4 dual-channel memory. There's 'One-Punch' CPU over clocking capability combined with the IceTunnel cooling system to keep the system chilled at excess speeds.

G6 runs on NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 980 with UHD 4K2K (3840 x 2160) display and sports Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi MB5. The casing allows for a bi-directional inflow of air to enable the IceTunnel cooling, and also houses the expansion slots (1 x PCI-E X16 slot, 2 x PCI-E X1 slots, 2 x M.2 slots).

Acer Predator G series desktop PC will be available in India from May with prices starting at Rs 12,0000.

Predator Z650 projector

Predator Z650 short-throw technology will allow users to display a huge image almost anywhere, to an extent that they will be able to project a 100" image from just 1.5 meters. This means from surveying the battleground with soldiers to preparing for a truly monumental experience, the gamers can fight on an enormous scale and feel the thrill of the gaming world.

There's 1080p Full HD projection, 20,000:1 contrast ratio and RGBRGB color wheel called ColorPurity. Gamers also have the option to connect Z650 with the PC that supports HDMI 3D and the 3DTV Play software kit to transform PC games into immersive stereoscopic 3D thrill.

Acer ColorBoost3D combines a 6-segment color wheel design with DLP chip and lamp power control capability.

The Projector are priced at Rs 1,29,000

Acer Predator X34 Gsync: World's first curved 34-inch gaming monitor

The new 34-inch curved 21:9 ultra-wide Gsync Predator X34 monitor is the world's first curved monitor with NVIDIA G-SYNC. It comes with DTS sound, 2x7W speakers, a zero-frame design with a futuristic aluminum base and ambient lighting options.

The monitor features IPS display panel with a 178-degree viewing angle, giving a wider field of view and increased perceived area of peripheral vision compared to a flat display of the same size. It supports 100% of the sRGB color gamut.

Designed with ergonomics in mind, the monitor can be tilted and adjusted vertically up to 130 mm, allowing the user to adjust the monitor to the most comfortable viewing angle. It also features flicker-less technology to lessen eye fatigue and supports DisplayPort and HDMI inputs, and has a built-in USB 3.0 hub which supports high-speed charging of smartphones and other devices.

The price of Acer Predator range of monitors starts from Rs 39,000 and goes upto Rs 1,10,000. It will be available from this month onwards.

Predator gaming accessories

The Predator gaming series include Predator gaming mouse, gaming mousepad and gaming headset.
