Please check power resume feature. May be they have restored it back.

Sometime back, I have manuelly updated the software and I used below proceedure(on my SD Recorder STB):

1- STB on at any channel
2- Power off the STB. (don't make STB on standby, just switch off from main power)
3- Switch on the power
4- When STB starts working Press ''EXIT'' button 2 times followed by 2465

Software update will start (ensure 4th step during Wait Screen).

Suggest, some one please confirm that above proceedure still works.??

Updated done Finally Release No. 457. I think my old version is Release no. 500.

What is the new update release no. Please advise can I update again?

As per above posts, the latest release number seems 501 for ordinary STB. I am having HD Recorder STB and the release number shows as 457. I did not go for any manual update because it seems that there are no specific change or new additions in the new release number 501. Normally, whenever they (ADTV) update any software same should be updated to all STB's automatically and no necessary to do manual update (thats my understanding !!)

Yes, you can try update again but if there are no changes in the new update what is the necessary/benefit to do the exercise again?

457 working well for all,other updates are coming as test.so do not try to update manually.when all the bug fixed then all stb's will get updates.
