I not checked with 5.1 speaker system,if they really provide 5:1 ,you must have a 5:1 speaker system for good experience otherwise you can enjoy with 3D Digital surround system enabled LCDs.

LCDs manufactured 2010 and back were not compatible with 5.1 digital sound. It needs to have home theatre with spdif or optical input to enjoy dolby digital 5.1 surround sound. I have logitech z5500 and its working great. Sound is noticeably crispy in Dolby Digital of MTunes HD

I have Samsung series 8 led 46 inches. And logitech z5500 5.1 home theatre with optical and spdif coaxial inputs. My Videocon HD is connected to my LCD via HDMI cable and i have used spdif coaxial cable for audio out from videocon hd and it is connected to my z5500 HT. My Home theatre has Dolby Digital/DTS decoder which gives actual Dolby Digital experience
