Breaking News : Zoom to launch ‘A Cut Above’ in Feb

MUMBAI: Zoom is going to air a reality talent-hunt series based onhairstyling titled ‘A Cut Above’ in February.
TRESemmé, makers of a wide range of hair care products, has come on board as the presenting sponsor of the show.
The series aims to give budding stylists a chance to prove that theyare a cut above the rest in the world of hairstyling.
Celebrity hairstylists Aalim Hakim, Rod Anker and Natasha Naegamvala will lead the hunt for the “most talented” young fingersacross the country, mentoring and judging the shortlisted contestants to finally select a winner who is a cut above.

ET Now, Times Now and Zoom CEOAvinash Kaul said, “Zoom has always engaged its audience withinnovative content that captures the aspirations and desires of the youth. A Cut Above is a unique platform that will showcase budding hairstylists and give them a gateway into the world of glamour and style that their mentors like Aalim, Natasha and Rod are already a part of. Their journey and struggle as depicted on the show will at once be interesting and inspiring for Zoom’s young audience.”
Contestants for the show stand a chance to get shortlisted for the show on the basis of their technical skills, knowledge and creativity.
‘A Cut Above’ will be supported by a marketing approach through print, online, on-air and will further reach out to its target audience by promotions across various salons.
To create buzz at the local level in the key cities, Zoom has tied up with Radio City as radio partner. To engage the “stylish” and “upbeat” TG, Zoom has partnered with ELLE as the magazine partnerand Zovi as the online partner. The channel has also got on board brands like Lux Body Wash, Pepe Jeans London, Vega Beauty Accessories, Aircel and Javed Habib.
The winner will get a chance to bethe official hair stylist for a TRESemme fashion event
