JAIPUR: A public interest litigation questioning the decision to shift IPL matches to South Africa has been filed in the Rajasthan High Court on
Friday. The court will hear the petition on Monday.

President of All India Karate Federation, Rameshwar Nirvan and Krishna Murari Lal Asthana have filed the petition through advocate Abhinav Sharma, which will come up before a division bench comprising Justice R C Gandhi and Justice Mahesh Bhagwati on Monday.

IPL chief Lalit Modi had recently announced the itinerary as per which all matches will be played in Johannesberg from April 18 to May 24. The petitioners have alleged that shifting of the tournament to South Africa will cause huge revenue losses to the nation.
