DD regional channels in Africa on Amos 5 at 17° East

DD (Doordarshan) regional channels are now available over entire Africa as Free-To-Air(FTA) channels on Amos 5 at 17° East, Pan-Africa beam.

I cant believe those people need our boring channels ...Or maybe for the Indians who are there. I heard lots of Indian language speaking-people colonies are there in Kenya, Cape Town, South Africa etc.

Yes you are right, there are lot of South Indians there in Kenya...

Few days back Sun TV did a program which showed peoples from Kenya.. Most of them were from Karnataka and Tamil Nadu..
