Tata DOCOMO, the GSM brand of Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) today rolled out its one paisa per second ISD tariff plan for countries like US, Canada and UK, in Gujarat.

"We pioneered the concept of pay per use in India and today have launched this ISD pack that allows the subscribers of Gujarat to make international calls to USA, Canada & UK at just 1 paisa per second," Chief Operating Officer-Tata Docomo Gujarat Nipun Sharma said.

"The revolutionary new ISD packs are available at Rs 60 with a validity of 30 days, Sharma said, adding that this new ISD plan was first launched in Punjab.

According to Sharma, out of the total 5.5 million NRI population in US, UK and Canada, 32 per cent are Non-resident Gujaratis (NRGs).

"Over 50 per cent of the ISD calling in Gujarat is to the UK, US and Canada and for every seven incoming calls there is one outgoing," Sharma said.

Tata Teleservices Limited has got licences to operate GSM services in 19 telecom circles across the country and has also been allotted spectrum in 18 of these circles.
