Radio Mirchi listeners had the opportunity to hear the versatile actor Manoj Bajpai and promising newcomer Pallavi Sarda on Thursday morning when they came on Mumbai’s No 1 show ‘Hi Mumbai’ and chatted with RJ Jeeturaaj. Live on air on Mumbai’s hottest station Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, they spoke in length about their upcoming film ‘Dus Tola’.

The extremely talented Manoj was heard engaging in a warm and friendly conversation with RJ Jeeturaaj where the two were heard pulling each other’s leg!

RJ Jeeturaaj encouraged Mirchi listeners to pose questions to Manoj and Pallavi regarding the film Dus Tola. Promising debutante Pallavi Sarda got into a playful tussle with RJ Jeeturaaj when she revealed that she was from Australia.

The feisty RJ teased her for India’s victory over Australia in the ODI held on Wednesday. Listeners even heard Manoj doing an encore of his dialogues from the film Raajneeti. The famous, “Karara Jawab Milega!” delighted Mirchi listeners.

Commenting on his upcoming film Manoj Bajpai said, “Dus Tola is an entertaining family drama. It has its moments of laughter and romance. We had a blast while filming it and the great camaraderie reflects in the scenes. Some situations are truly hilarious and the audience will enjoy them to the fullest”.

Set in the quaint town of Sonapur, ‘Dus Tola’ is a heart-warming tale about Shankar Sunar, the local goldsmith, played to perfection by Manoj Bajpai who ardently loves Suvarnalata, etched by Aarti Chhabria.

However his plan to marry Suvarnalata is foiled by her father who wants to get her daughter wedded to a suitable groom from Dubai who can cover her in gold. This sets Shankar on a steadfast quest to win his ladylove. Directed by Ajoy Verma, the ‘Dus Tola’ captures the multi-layered emotions of the common man in India and deftly portrays them.

Tune into Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM to catch the beautiful songs of Dus Tola!
