Today I had a talk with 24 Ghanta Bangla Marketing Person. He said that they have no intentions in adding 24 Ghanta Bangla in Sun Direct as it is a South based DTH Service. I told him if ABP Ananda & Aakash Aath can be in Sun Direct then why can't 24 Ghanta Bangla ? Remember, both these are rival channels for 24 Ghanta Bangla. But he said that 24 Ghanta Bangla can never come to Sun Direct. They are not interested at all. The person of 24 Ghanta Bangla with whom I talked his mobile number is 9836248855. Very bad news. Sun Direct DTH subscribers will be deprived of a very good Bengali News Channel. :bad looking: Hope Sun Direct adds some other Bengali news channel in near future.

@Sam,
Once Sun Direct gets extra TP's from Measat 3B which is going to launch soon, we can see many new channels getting added for sure from all the regional languages.
Till then we cannot expect any other regional channels except few (3 to 5) South Indian regional channels getting added.

no sam trai has passed an act saying all broadcasters have to take agreements with dth.s and iptv by september so definitely they have to approach sundirect,meanwhile sundirect will fetch transpoders so we can expect it dont worry.but hope so trai will implement it strictly

Yes I agree that sun direct has to approach Zee Media after getting new tps but the fact is that Zee Media is not interested in launching 24 Ghanta Bangla & Zee Bangla Cinema in their platform. They are happy only to launch Zee Bangla LCN 621 on their platform.

no zee people have to approach sundirect as per trai rule.after transpoder space it will happen dont worry
