DTH News : customer care now one to one help desk on airtel dth

today i called airtel dth customer care.now thier auto teller machine says 'for connect to one to one help desk executive press 2' instead of 'customer service executive'.

So, they also started this auto system like other services. Everytime one has to repeat all steps again and at the end the call may get disconnected on its own.!! Presume more trouble for customers.!?

the toll free no is closed i think from today bec. in the EPG in the help menu-> contact us they don't show the toll free nos. only tolled nos are written very bad that is

I am one of those cheesed off this press 1 press 2 etc particularly when you use mobile phone. why not these guys publish a user friendly page describing all these steps instead of hearing inhuman(? ??) automatic voice with typical BPO accent and speed. For those having hearing deficiency and old people who cannot react immediately this is a pain.

Yes Indeed. This is inconvenient for many especially those who use Mobile phones to call. And there are chances that most of the time the call get disconnected towards the end which means one has to repeat the excercise which is painful.!
