Is the IPL back on track? It could be with officials sending a new schedule to the Home Ministry on Wednesday.
But in the revised schedule, the IPL bosses have dropped Delhi, Jaipur and Vizag as its venues with the government not willing to provide security.
According to the new schedule, there will be seven matches in Hyderabad from April 27 to May 12. Four matches would be held in Mohali from April 12 to 28.
While Bangalore will host seven IPL matches from May 4 to 20, there would be seven matches in Ahmedabad from April 11 to May 13.
In Kolkata too, it has been decided that there would be seen matches from April 11 to 26.
Meanwhile, Union Home Minister P Chidambaram has said that the revised Indian Premier League schedule has been sent to the states and a decision will be taken only after receiving inputs from the states.
