The Audyseey DSX system is supposed to boost the acoustic depth and three-dimensionality of the sound by an additional step.
Along with six HDMI input slots and two HDMI outputs slots, the receiver also has a network connection for audio streaming and a video scaler. The device, set to hit markets in June, costs 2,000 euros (2,700 dollars) and can download online updates. (dpa)
