MUMBAI: Discovery Communication has tied up with GAP Adventures, an adventure travel company, to launch Discovery Adventures.
As part of the tie up, Discovery Adventures-branded trips will be hosted in destinations such as Latin America, Africa and Asia (India and China) that will be featured in Discovery Channel programming.
"GAP Adventures is the perfect partner to launch Discovery Adventures and help viewers experience first-hand the wonder, amazement and diversity of the world as seen every day on Discovery Channel," says Discovery commerce licensing VP Elizabeth Bakacs.
GAP Adventures is developing a distribution programme for its preferred trade partners, involving joint marketing, promotion and training designed to bring Discovery Adventures to market as a new adventure travel option for retail travel distribution.
