FSAI announces second addition of PACC 2011
New Delhi, 17th Feb, 2011: Fire and Security Association of India, a non-profit organization representing those practicing in the field of Fire Protection, Security and Safety Engineering is organizing PAC Conclave 2011 at Pattaya, Bangkok from February 17th to 20th, 2011. The objective of this conclave is to discuss, challenges and opportunities in the business of safety and security and the way forward. Every year, FSAI invites all the Industry captains and members for an informative conclave. First such event was held at Goa in February 2010 called Goa Conclave 2010. The roaring success of last year encouraged them to organize the PAC Conclave 2011 on a larger scale. The profile of the invitees for this event includes Promoters, Architects, Consultants, System Integrators and end users.

The four-day event is being held for the first time overseas and is structured with a right blend of business and networking. The highlight of this event is the “The Big Fat Debate by top five CEO, Panel Discussion on the future trend in Safety and Security, Business Honcho’s perspective of the respective business, motivational talk by Mr. Shiv Khera “Winners don’t do different things, they do things differently” and Dr. Shantanu Nagarkatti speaking on an interesting subject called “Who the hell created this idea called Marriage”.

These Conclaves are aimed at discussing and finding solutions to various industry related issues like, Growth, Margins, Technology, Human Resources, Government Support, Education Program, Workshops, etc. The well-attended event later prepares an industry charter and white paper, which FSAI purses for the overall development of the industry.

Speaking on the event, Mr. Pramoud Rao, National President of Fire and Security Association of India said, “FSAI is the NASSCOM of the Safety and Security Industry. We as a team of dedicated professionals are working hard towards the growth of this industry and in bringing about awareness on Fire and Security among the general public. PACC is one such event that will bring together the entire industry on one common platform – Manufacturers, Installers, Integrators, Distributors as well as End Users and Specifiers to discuss various growth prospects of the Fire and Security Industry from different perspectives. Team FSAI is very excited and looks forward to unfold this event.”
