Acer announced new products at its next@acer global press conference in New York this week. Amongst the slew of devices, the company introduced new notebooks from its Aspire and Swift series, a smartwatch, and a gaming notebook. Here’s a roundup of Acer’s new product lineup.

Acer Predator Triton 700: The all-new gaming notebook measures 18.9mm and weighs 2.6kg. It comes with a curved display, and features Acer’s AeroBlade 3D Fan that offers advanced thermal performance within the ultrathin form factor. The Predator Triton 700 is VR-ready and boasts a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display that comes with support for external monitor for enhanced gaming experience. It is powered by 7th Generation Intel Core processor, NVIDIA GeForce 10-Series graphics, up to 32GB of DDR4 2400MHz memory, two USB 3.0 ports (featuring power-off USB charging), one USB 2.0 port, an HDMI 2.0 port, one DisplayPort connector and a Gigabit Ethernet port.


t further includes a mechanical keyboard, PredatorSense software and NVIDIA G-SYNC monitor support. The gaming notebook will be available in North America in August starting at $2,999 (approximately Rs 192,600). However, specifications, prices and availability will vary according to region.

Swift 3, Swift 1 Notebooks: Aimed at early adopters, Acer added two new models to the Swift Series of ultra slim notebooks. The Swift 3 and Swift 1 are both Windows 10 notebooks and are claimed to offer up to 10 hours of battery life. These further support Windows Hello through fingerprint sensors, Acer BluelightShield app for controlling blue light emission and Acer TrueHarmony audio technology.

The Swift 3 is priced at $599 (approximately Rs 38,500) and boasts a brushed-aluminium body. It is available in 14-inch or 15.6-inch full HD anti-glare display models. Under the hood, 7th generation Intel Core processor is paired with Intel HD or NVIDIA GeForce graphics, 512GB SSDs or 1TB HDDs, up to 8GB of memory and 2×2 MIMO 802.11ac wireless technology.
