Airtel introduces prepaid recharge combo plans for Mumbai users starting at Rs 35; offers up to 2GB data, 84 days validity

Bharti Airtel, the leading telecom player in the country, has announced simplified combo recharge packs for its prepaid users in Mumbai. The Sunil Mittal-led company announced that it is introducing these combo plans as a convenient recharge option for users in Mumbai. The combo plans will be available in affordable denominations of Rs 35, Rs 65, Rs 95, Rs 145 and Rs 245, which the company claims to be popular among its users.

“The new packs have been designed on the basis of extensive research and feedback from customers, who highlighted the need for talk time, tariff and data built into one single pack instead of the need to do separate recharges,” the company said in a statement. The combo packs have become the most popular recharge option in the country since they combine data, talk time and validity for a simplified and convenient recharge option.

“We are constantly listening to our customers and are working towards improving their experience through exciting innovations and process re-engineering. These revolutionary prepaid packs are designed to truly simplify the customer experience and offer great value. All this will continue to be backed by world-class customer services on India’s best mobile network,” said Amit Tripathi, Chief Executive Officer – Mumbai, Bharti Airtel.

Bharti Airtel says these new combo plans have been designed on the basis of extensive research and feedback from customers. It says that these customers highlighted the need for talk time, tariff and data built into a single recharge pack instead of separate plans. The new combo plans announced for prepaid users in Mumbai will complement company’s unlimited bundle recharge packs, which offer unlimited calling, free national roaming, SMS and data benefits.

Here is what you get from Airtel’s newest combo packs:
With the combo pack priced at Rs 35, Bharti Airtel is offering talk time of Rs 26.5 and 100MB data for a period of 28 days. With Rs 65 combo plan, Airtel prepaid users in Mumbai will get Rs 55 talk time and 200MB of 4G/3G/2G data for 28 days. With Rs 95, Rs 145 and Rs 245 combo plan, the company is offering full talk time and varied data based on validity.

The Rs 95 combo pack has a validity of 28 days and it offers full talk time of Rs 95 and 500MB data. With the recharge of Rs 145, Airtel prepaid users will be entitled for Rs 145 talk time and 1GB data for a period of 42 days. If you want higher validity then Rs 245 combo pack offers 2GB data, full talk time of Rs 245 for a period of 84 days.
