The avalanche of IPOs in China is affecting Indian stock markets negatively. Investors of Singapore,Hong Kong,London are pulling out their investments from India and investing it in China. During last week alone, 25 Chinese companies have received investments $377 billion.

The amount received by Chinese companies is almost three times the cumulative FII equity investments into India since 1992-93. Chinese IPOs are attractive since rules force companies to issue shares at a substantial discount to valuation of listed peers.
