BSNL to offer 300 additional free calls (MCUs) on all networks for new landline subscribers arranging their own landline instrument
BSNL has decided to offer 300 additional free MCUs (Metered Call Units) on all networks for new landline subscribers arranging their own landline instrument.

This new scheme was announced by BSNL in an attempt to promote its landline business in the country. New landline customers who arrange their own landline telephone instrument will be provided with 300 additional free MCUs on all networks in the month following the month of provisioning of connection.
This promotional scheme will be available with effect from 25th October 2016, for a period up to 31st Dec 2016 on PAN India basis.
Details of BSNL's promotional Scheme for new landline customers with effect from 25-10-2016 to 31-12-2016 in all telecom circles
*Provision of 300 additional FREE MCUs on (all networks) in lieu of subscriber owned CLIP (Calling Line Identification Presentation - telephone instrument having Caller ID facility) instrument.
*The 300 Free MCUs on (all networks) will be provided in the month following the month of provisioning of connection as one time measure to promote landline connection without CLIP instrument.
Free Calls will be provided as a one-time measure to promote landline connection without CLIP instrument. It means, customers will be provided 300 additional free calls only once.
NOTE: Free calls will be available in the second month after activation of new landline connection.
(Recently, BSNL launched many attractive schemes and offers in an attempt to boost its landline / broadband business. Now BSNL Landline connection is available @ just Rs 49/- monthly rental for new customers any where in the country. For new broadband customers, the PSU launched one new Unlimited Combo Broadband plan - 'Experience Unlimited BB 249' which offers maximum download speed of 2 Mbps).
