MUMBAI: Entering its 10th year, Hindi youth GEC Bindass will be rebranding by introducing a 3D background to its logo that has been developed in-house.

The channel will change its entire packaging starting 5 November and add 10 new shows to its programming line-up, five of which are under production.

While last year Bindass had become a platform-agnostic brand, the focus this year is more on storytelling by creating content that is relatable for the youth.

Speaking about the 3D branding, The Walt Disney Company India, VP content and communication, Vijay Subramaniam said, “The whole package is created in-house. This time we have explored the medium of 3D. We have done live and graphic environment but 3D for an entertainment channel is a first.”

Bindass has announced the details of three of its forthcoming shows. The channel will bring back the second season of the reality show ‘Beg Borrow Steal’, which will be sponsored by Ossum and Airtel. The show is slated for launch on 5 November.

On 15 December the channel will introduce its tenfold property, ‘The Trip’, starring Lisa Hayden, Malika Dua, Sapna Babi and Shweta Tripathi. It is a story of four girls who go on a road trip from Delhi to Thailand. The channel has got on board Lakme, Ford Eco Sport and Myntra for the show. Besides, it will bring back ‘Girl in the City’, starring Mithila Palkar.
