The Lenovo A2010, priced at Rs 4990, is currently the cheapest 4G phone of India. We recently compared it with other budget 4G devices, namely ZTE Blade Qlux 4G and the Phicomm Energy 653. You can read the comparison articlehere.

Now, Micromax's Yu Yunique has been launched in India with 4G connectivity at just Rs 4,999. So let us now see how the Yunique and A2010 do against each other.

Design
The Yu Yunique is a good looking phone, with a stylish and modern design. The phone has thin bezels all around, while the rear of the phone is dominated by the large camera lens. The compact phone measures 134.5 x 67.5 x 8.3 mm and weighs 128 grams.

The Lenovo A2010 has simple and understated looks. TheLenovo A2010 has average sized bezels all around, and has a curved back. It comes in black and white colours and measures 130.5 x 66.6 x 9.98 mm while weighing 137 grams.

Both these phones are fairly compact, but the Yunique is the device with more flair in the design.

Display
The Lenovo A2010 has a 4.5 inch IPS display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. While the Yu Yunique has a 4.7 inch IPS display with resolution of 720 x 1280 and Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The tougher, larger, and clearer display makes the Yu Yunique the winner of this round. The Yu Yunique is also the cheapest HD phone you can buy today.

Processor & Memory
The Yu Yunique has a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, which runs with 1 GB of RAM. The internal storage stands at 8 GB, to which you can add another 32 GB via a microSD card.

The Lenovo A2010 has a quad-core 1.0 GHz MediaTek MT6735M processor which runs with 1 GB of RAM. The internal storage stands at 8 GB. The memory can be expanded by up to 32 GB.

It is very difficult to choose in this round but due to slightly higher processor clockspeed, the the Yunique certainly has an edge over the Lenovo A2010.

Software
The Lenovo A2010 runs on Android Lollipop, with Lenovo's own custom UI.

On the other hand, Yu Yunique runs on Cyanogen OS 12.1 (based on Android Lollipop). Cyanogen is one of the nicest operating systems to use thanks to its various additional features related to customisations.

This is a difficult round to call, as both the phones run on Android Lollipop. It is just up to you which custom ROM you would like.

Battery

The Yu Yunique has a 2000 mAh battery, as does the Lenovo A2010. Considering that the difference in the display sizes of the phones is negligible and since both of them have quad core processor, it is difficult to pronounce a winner in this round.

Camera
The Lenovo A2010 has a 5 megapixel primary auto-focus camera and 2 megapixel camera.

The Yu Yunique has an 8 megapixel primary autofocus camera with f/2.0, low light photography, 5 layer lens, flash, and video recording. For selfies, it has a 2 megapixel shooter that claims to have an 83 degree wide angle lens.

The Yu Yunique again has the better specs and so is the winner of this round (on paper ofcourse till we do a real world test).

Connectivity
The Yu Yunique and the Lenovo A2010 are both dual-SIM phones with 4G, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and WiFi connectivity features.

Wrapping Up
The Lenovo A2010 is out manoeuvred in this battle at every turn. At its best, it can only claim to have the better battery, while the software, storage, and connectivity remain equal. The Yu Yunique outguns the Lenovo A2010 when it comes to the display, processing ability, and camera. We're pretty sure you'll like the looks of the Yunique more than the A2010 too.
