As it was earlier tipped in an APK teardown, Google Duo now finally has multi-device app support and a dedicated interface for tablets. Google is rolling out the update to select users initially as a server-side update, so it’ll take a while before it reaches everyone.

Google Duo multi-device support essentially means users will now be able to log in to multiple devices using one account at the same time, and the call ring will buzz on all devices together, as first spotted by XDA Developers. However, now you need to connect Google Duo with your Google account to use multi-device support.

XDA also notes that Google Duo app for tablets now has a dedicated interface, which is now different from smartphone app. The interface shows the video window in almost full screen, unified contacts search bar and more. This update again will be rolling out to select number of users as server-side gradually.

A couple of days back, Google after a while updated it’s official note taking application Google Keep. While drawing functionality was already available on Google Keep, the recent 5.0.251 update further adds ability of a grid line canvas, allowing users to draw with more precision and accuracy.

After enabling the drawing mode, users will now have the option to choose between four types of grid lines for the canvas. This includes Square, Dots, Rules and None. Choosing one will change the entire background to that pattern. While Square and Dots are great for drawing, Rules grid should come in handy for taking handwritten notes, just like a notebook. The update is currently available for Android devices on Google Play.
