As expected, Huawei sub-brand Honor has today launched the Note 10. The phablet has been launched in China, and as the name suggests, it is the successor to 2016’s Honor Note 8. Read on for all the details about the new Honor Note 10.

Honor Note 10 price, availability
Honor’s new phablet has been launched in China in three variants. The base variant with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM is priced at RMB 2,799 (approximately Rs 28,100). The mid-variant with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM is priced at RMB 3,199 (approximately Rs 32,100), and the top variant with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM is priced at RMB 3,599 (approximately Rs 36,100). The phablet is set to go on sale in China starting tomorrow – August 1.

Honor Note 10 features, specifications
The Honor Note 10 is aimed at those who enjoy playing games and watching videos on the go. For them, the phablet flaunts a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with 2160×1080 pixels resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio, and HDR10 format support.

Under the hood is a Kirin 970 octa-core chipset paired with Mali G72 GPU, and i7 co-processor. There is also support for GPU Turbo Tech, CPU Turbo, and Double Turbo mode that promises the best performance. There is also a dedicated hardware button to launch these modes.

To ensure the device doesn’t overheat, Honor has opted for what it calls ‘The Nine’ liquid cooling technology. This offers eight-layer heat dissipation, with a promise of up to 10 degrees reduction in CPU temperature.

For photography, there is a dual-camera setup at the back. This includes a 24-megapixel primary sensor and a 16-megapixel secondary sensor with AI-powered scene recognition. For selfies, there is a 13-megapixel camera up front.

Making sure everything ticks is a 5,000mAh battery with support for fast charging technology. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. On the software front, the phablet runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.2.
