Is it possible to access any website by its IP address? Yes, you can, with the help of IIS (Internet Information Services). However, before doing it, you need to bind your website to a non-standard port along with public IP address of your VPS. In order to bind it, follow the below steps:

Step 1: Login into your Window server through Remote Desktop.

Step 2: Now head on to Start ->Administrative Tools-> Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.

Step 3: Under IIS, expand the sites and select the website which you want to access via IP address.

Step 4: Now click on Bindings and once you click it you will see current bindings of that website.

Step 5: Once done, click on Add to add new binding

Step 6: In this process, name website type as HTTP. Then select an IP address to bind the website. While you won't be able to bind the new website to port 80, you need to specify a port number where to want to bind the website.

Step 7: Now keep the Hostname blank, click OK and then Close.
