After weeks of speculation, Google finally announced the name for Android M. Dubbed as Marshmallow; the latest Android OS will be version 6.0. Google has also released the third developer preview of Android M for supported Nexus devices. Within no time, the developer community has managed to pull out the latest Google Now Launcher, which you can download and install on your smartphone from APK Mirror.
The updated Google Now Launcher brings the new and improved user interface, some performance improvements and a set of new wallpapers. However, it doesn’t bring any new features in tow. Additionally, if you’re installing the launcher on devices without Android 6.0, you won’t get the vertical app sorting layout in app drawer. The Android Marshmallow Google Now Launcher is compatible with phones running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and above.
How to install Android Marshmallow Google Now Launcher
Step 1 – On your Android phone, head over to Settings > Security > Unknown Sources. Make sure you tick on the check-box to allow app installation from unknown sources.
Step 2 – Download the APK file from APK Mirror
Step 3 – Once downloaded, click on the APK file, install and voila, you’re done.
