Intex has launched a new smartphone, called the Aqua Power HD 4G . Priced at 8,363, the smartphone is listed on the company’s website but without details about availability. The smartphone seems to be an upgraded variant of the recently launched Intex Aqua Power 4G smartphone. The Aqua Power HD 4G comes with marginally bigger battery and more RAM than the Aqua Power 4G .

While the Aqua Power HD 4G comes with 3,900mAh battery, the Aqua Power 4G has 3,800mAh battery. The Aqua Power HD 4G is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM, the Aqua Power 4G has 1GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. Rest of the specifications of the two smartphones are pretty much the same. It is worth pointing out here that the Aqua Power 4G also comes with the HD display but supports two finger touch while the Aqua Power 4G HD has five finger touch.

Intex Aqua Power HD 4G specifications

The smartphone features a 5-inch HD (720p) IPS display. Under its hood runs a 1.4GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The Aqua Power HD 4G offers an internal storage of 16GB which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

The smartphone sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash. It comes with a 2-megapixel front facing camera. It is powered by a 3,900mAh battery, which the company claims delivers up to 7 hours of talktime. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Connectivity options include 4G, dual-SIM, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.

Intex Aqua Power HD 4G features

The Aqua Power HD 4G comes with a turbo download feature which helps in downloading large sized files quickly on 4G network. The other features of the smartphone include face detection, anti-shake, do not disturb and emergency rescue. It is also pre-loaded with apps like Matrabhasha, Saavn, Clean Master and Opera Mini.

At Rs 8,000 approximately, the Aqua Power HD 4G will take on the popular budget smartphones like Meizu m3 Note and CoolPad Note 3 Lite. If you shell out about Rs 1,500 more, you can buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 16GB model as it offers a few better features like VoLTE support and fingerprint scanner.
