#1

Telecom war has again picked up the heat and once again customers are at the beneficiary end. After Reliance Jio introduced its Dhan Dhana Dhan offer earlier this week, Airtel, Vodafone, Idea and BSNL all have played their trump card and introduced similar offers. So many lucrative bundled plans from different operators give birth to confusion which is why we have summed up all the offers here to help you decide as to which is the best for you.

Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan Offer - Rs 309 and Rs 509
Under the new offer, Jio users who have already subscribed Jio Prime membership can now get 1GB 4G data per day for 84 days (28 days x 3) by just paying Rs 309. Further, one can pay Rs 509 and get 2GB 4G data per day with a validity of 84 days. Apart from this, you still get unlimited free voice calls and SMS and free access to Jio Apps.

On the other hand, if you are not a prime member or you have just bought your Jio SIM, you need to pay Rs 408 (Rs 99 + 309) for 1GB 4G data every day for 84 days and Rs 608 (Rs 99 + 509) for the same benefits as under Rs 509 plan. You can avail Reliance Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer if you recharge by 15th April.

Airtel - Rs 244, Rs 399 and Rs 345
Following Reliance Jio’s Dhan Dhana Dhan offer, Airtel introduced a bunch of new offers in order to maintain its user base and not lose out it to Jio. Starting with Rs 244 plan, Airtel is offering free unlimited Local+STD Airtel calls along with 1GB of free data every day for 70 days. Further, you also get a limit of 300 minutes of calls per day and 1200 minutes for the whole week after which you will be charged 10 paise per minute.

Airtel also introduced a new plan at Rs 399 under which one can get 1GB 4G data per day for 70 days coupled with free unlimited Local + STD calls. Further, the telecom operator has also upgraded the previous Rs 345 pack which now offers 2GB per day for 28 days unlike 1GB per day previously. This plan also offers free unlimited Local + STD calls.

Vodafone - Rs 352
Vodafone has also reportedly introduced a new plan for Rs 352 under which users can get 1GB data per day along with free Local+STD calls for 56 days (28 days x 2). The are no free SMS n this one.The offer is currently available for some select users only.

Idea - Rs 297 and Rs 447
Vodafone-Idea merger has some time to become a reality and till then Idea has to look up for itself. After Airtel and Vodafone came out with their ace cards, Idea introduced a couple of plans priced at Rs 297 and Rs 447. Under Rs 297 plan, you get 1GB free 4G data (on a 4G handset) every day along with free Idea-to-Idea calls with a validity of 70 days. Also, the daily cap for calls is 300 minutes while the weekly limit is 1200 minutes is here well.

Idea Cellular also introduced a new play for Rs 447 where is now one can enjoy free unlimited Local+STD calls to any network along with free SMS for a period of 70 days. The cap for this plan is 3000 minutes for the 70-day period.

BSNL - Rs 249
State-owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has also introduced a new plan, but only for new users. Subscribing to BSNL, one can now get 300 GB data (speed of 2 Mbps till 1 GB/day, up to 1 Mbps beyond 1 GB/day) per month along with free unlimited calls (9 PM to 7 AM) on weekdays and Sunday (all day) for just Rs 249. There are no free text messages here as well.

Which one is best for you?
Currently, Reliance Jio is still offering the best deal with its Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer with 84GB of data, free calls and SMS for Rs 309 (Plus Rs 99 for Non-Prime users). On the other hand, Airtel’s Rs 399 and Rs 345 plan is not bad as well but you will have to be careful of the daily and weekly call minutes limit. Idea’s Rs 297 plan is yet another good option if most of your calls are to Idea network while BSNL’s Rs 249 offer is though the cheapest, but lacks on providing free cealls all day. In order to find which one is best suited for you, sort out your preferences regarding the amount of internet, limit to calls and price.
