Reliance Jio Rs 98 vs Airtel Rs 99 vs BSNL Rs 98: Prepaid plans under Rs 100, offers and benefits compared

As the price vs data war gets intense, telcos are coming up with even better plans that offer attractive benefits. Be it smartphones or telecom plans, the sweet spot is the entry-level segment. Yes, there are plans priced at Rs 350 and above, with a month-long validity, offering surplus amount of data that you may not even need. But if you are looking for a tariff plan priced under Rs 100 that offers attractive benefits, here are the available options and benefits.

Reliance Jio
The most affordable plan offered by Reliance Jio is priced at Rs 49, which offers 1GB data, unlimited calls and 28 days validity. The other plan is priced at Rs 99, which offers 500MB daily data, 28 days validity, unlimited voice calls and 300 free SMS. However, both of these plans are available for JioPhone users.

In case you are looking for a plan for your Jio connection that you use on your existing 4G phone, you can go for the Rs 98 plan that offers 2GB 4G data, 28 days validity, unlimited calls and 300 free SMS. The plan also offers complimentary subscription to Jio suite of apps.

Airtel
Bharti Airtel has a number of plans priced under Rs 100, each offering different benefits. If you are looking for a data-centric plan, you can recharge with Rs 99, which offers 3GB data along with a validity of 28 days. However, you don’t get any other benefits with this plan. If you want to enjoy calling and roaming benefits, there is a plan priced at Rs 97, which offers 350 minutes of local and national calling, 1GB data, 100 SMS per day, national roaming, and 1GB 3G /4G data with 28 days validity.

BSNL
Lastly, state run telco, BSNL, has a new plan priced at Rs 98 called “data tsunami” which comes with 26 days validity, and offers 1.5GB daily 3G data. However, the only drawback of this plan is that it doesn’t include any calling or SMS benefits.
