Oppo India has just launched its latest flagship smartphone in the market. The Oppo Find X is priced at Rs 59,990, and it will go on sale via Flipkart and offline stores from August 3. Pre-orders for the Find X will start from July 30 and Oppo will offer a Flipkart gift voucher for Rs 3,000 to the people who end up pre-ordering the device. The company is clearly planning on taking the fight to its competition including Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Vivo, and others.

The company is also planning to bring the Oppo Find X Lamborgini Special Edition to India. It will come with support for SuperVOOC Flash Charge technology that will allow users to charge the device within 35-minutes along with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, 8GB RAM, and 512GB storage. Oppo has not left any stone unturned to ensure that the Find X can stand on its own in the market flooded with top-end smartphones. This includes the top of the line processor along with a new and different design to remove the notch from the design. The motorized pop-up camera is a bold take on how to innovate while not following the mainstream trend.

Find X is the first device in the Indian market with a motorized camera coming right before the Vivo NEX. Though it does raise issues regarding the durability of the motorized component of the device, the company claims that it has conducted repeated tests to ensure that the component lasts.

Oppo Find X Specifications
The Find X comes with a 6.42-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and 93.8 percent screen to body coverage. It comes with an aluminum frame with Gorilla Glass front as well as the rear. Find X is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with 8GB RAM, and 256GB internal storage. It has a pop-up dual rear camera setup that has a 16-megapixel sensor and 20-megapixel sensor, along with a pop-up 25-megapixel selfie shooter.

The selfie camera array also includes an infrared sensor and dot projector similar to Apple’s Face ID for 3D face recognition. It lacks a fingerprint sensor as Oppo did not opt for a scanner at the back or under the display.

The Oppo Find X offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and 4G LTE. It runs on ColorOS 5.1-based Android 8.1 Oreo while being powered by a 3,730mAh battery. The smartphone will be available in Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue color options with gradient design.
