sorry for being offtopic, why anyone here has reviewed Xcruiser XDSR HD 400 receiver ??? its not available in india, but u can import it from dubai either through courier or ur friend can get it...
it costs around 6k... very good receiver & customer support is damn good... & software is very user friendly... more over its a DVB-S2 MP4 HD receiver with PVR function.... supports CCcam

just try it & review here pls... i didnt find any info about that product... hence i had to write about it here.... sorry for being off topic once again...

None here has Xcruiser XDSR400HD as per my knowledge. I know it is a great receiver but the problem is no dealerships in India. I would buy it when Xcruiser comes to India officially. Their online support is awesome...

yep admin, thats what i am stressing out here... even i saw a rep from support team of Xcruiser helping out a customer through online... its as if someone who r lovers for long time chatting each other on yahoo messenger.... i followed their entire discussion on dishtracking dot com site .... after seeing that, i have decided to buy Xcruiser only...

what do u think which one is better in terms of these 2 receivers ???

also as i am a noob in this field, i want to know personally from u that what are all the features you would expect when buying a new linux HD PVR sat receiver at present ????
kindly explain it to me in simple terms so that i can understand & learn for further contributing to ne members who r coming here regularly in search of knowledge...

waiting for ur valuable openion.... thanks for ur patience...

Their support guy is doing a great job in DT. I would prefer XDSR400HD[If I get money XDSR600HD].

I expect Powerful blind scanning, should read at least Nagra,Irdeto,Conax,Diseqc 1.2,Music,photos,youtube player, and finally MPEG4 DVBS2 1080i PVR capability.

As usual, XDSR HD 600 has a better features like full HD 1080p, youtube function, 4 line in for cables 500 MIPS processor, RAM capacity also increased & powerful Hardware supported Blind Scan etc etc... also extra card slots compared to HD 400... i simply love that receiver....

its only the cost which is making me think twice before jumping into that venture... very frustrating... i will wait for some more time... lets see if they reduce the price of HD 600...:reading:
