Launching its telecom operations only in September last year, Ambani-led Reliance Jio has marched ahead of the pack in a matter of months. The service has 52.23 million wireless broadband users, ahead of Bharti Airtel’s 41.90 million, according to data provided by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) until the end of November.

Vodafone stood third with 34.87 million subscribers, followed by Idea (28.40 million) and then Reliance Communications (16.08 million).
