MUMBAI: The recently launched factual entertainment channel Sony BBC Earth has unveiled its line-up for this month.
Viewers can get all the answers to queries ranging from human anatomy to weather starting 10 April every weekday at 8:00 pm in ‘Why, How and What on Earth’. The show ‘Things You Need to Know’ unravels facts with graphics and special effects.
Another show that premieres this month is called ‘Weird Wonders of the World’. Starting 10 April, Monday to Friday at 9 pm, in ‘Wild Wild Earth’, the show will uncover real, fascinating, strange and unbelievable stories from across the world. Discover secrets behind bizarre science, animal oddities, medical miracles and remarkable natural phenomena with the help of leading scientists, engaging contributors and stunning experiments.
In addition to science and wildlife, Sony BBC Earth promises some human-interest stories with ‘Extreme Weather: The Survivors’, premiering on 24 April, Monday to Friday at 10 pm on ‘Earth Explorers’. The series explores the incredible true stories of survivors who have faced the most life-threatening natural disasters. With a combination of personal video footage, first-person testimonies and scientific data, the series brings incredible survival stories that resonate courage and bravery making the audiences feel alive. Celebrating Earth Day on 22 April, Sony BBC Earth will showcase the untouched parts of the country. The special series ‘Hidden India’ will premiere on 22 April at 9 pm in ‘Earth Specials’. The series will take viewers on a journey showcasing diverse natural landscapes and cultures.
