MUMBAI: Telugu GEC Star Maa is launching a new fiction daily titled ‘Amekatha’ on 4th November airing daily at 10 pm. The show has been produced by Reliance Big Synergy. This is the first Telugu fiction show by the production house.

Starring new-age sensation and the Good Boy of Bigg Boss Telugu Ravi Krishna with popular Television Star Navya & Shrisha in pivotal roles, Amekatha is an edge of a seat thriller. Set up in the contemporary period, the series will showcase the quest of the female protagonist to unravel the truth in a sea of lies and deceit.

Amekatha is a story about a middle-class woman who grew up in a grim circumstance and had to take up the responsibility of the household. Her marriage with a person whom she falls in love turns out to be manipulative. The essence of the story is how she handles the surprises in her marriage life.

Speaking on the occasion, Star Maa Networks business head Alok Jain said, “We have always experimented with stories that have an ability to challenge the status quo. Amekatha is a very powerful story of an ordinary girl who will face an extraordinary challenge. What starts as a fairy-tale wedding turns out to be a web of deceit. How she faces her hurdles and becomes a true Star Maa heroine – inspiring and audacious forms the journey. Our attempt has always been to create powerful characters through compelling stories, making Star Maa the most preferred entertainment destination leading the category by keeping the audience excited.”

Reliance Big Synergy CEO Rajiv Bakshi said, “We have been the pioneers in the non-fiction genre in both Hindi and regional markets in India. We are committed to building a similar reputation in the fiction genre as well, across television and streaming platforms. With Amekhatha, we have attempted to set a new benchmark in terms of its storytelling and production design. Reliance Big Synergy will continue to invest in the development and production of entertaining content and formats across fiction, non-fiction, and factual genres.”
