Vodafone Red: Vodafone India is the second largest mobile network operator in the country by subscriber base, after Airtel with a market share of 18.42%. It is headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It has approximately 185 million customers as of June 2015. Today (19th August 2016) the company has announced a range of new Postpaid plans under its Vodafone Red. There is a total of six new plans, two plans offer unlimited voice calling including roaming and up to 8 GB of data in India. check more details about Postpaid plans below.
According to the company, these new Vodafone Red Postpaid plans are exclusively designed for the high-value postpaid customer, whose needs are rapidly evolving with the increasing use of mobile internet, smartphones, and Latest Mobile Applications. The two new Vodafone Red plans that offer unlimited calling including roaming that is priced at Rs 1,999 and Rs 1,699 respectively. The Higher price plan offers 8GB of Internet data with 500SMS while the other one offers 6GB of Internet data with 500SMS.
The Vodafone RED plans offers of Rs 499, Rs 899, Rs 1299 and Rs 1599. The first scheme equipped with 1000 local or STD minutes, 500 local or national SMS and 500MB internet data. The second tariff plan comes with 2000 STD or local Calling minutes, 2GB of Internet data and 1000 national or local SMS. coming to the third plan, which is priced at Rs. 1299 – It offers 1500 local or national SMS, 4000 STD or local minutes and 3GB of Internet Data. The fourth one priced at Rs. 1599 with 5GB of Internet data, 2000 national or local SMS and 6000 local or STD call Minutes.
Vodafone India launched 3G services in the January–March quarter of 2011 in India and plans to spend up to $500 million within two years on its 3G networks. It has already launched its 4G services like – New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Kochi from February 2016 and plans to expand its network to rest of the cities.
