General News Vodafone offers 1 year of Netflix subscription & more on Samsung Galaxy S9 & S9+

Vodafone has announced that it has partnered with Samsung to offer an exciting proposition for its customers who are looking to buy the latest flagship devices, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+.

Under this partnership, Vodafone will be offering one-year of free Netflix subscription to Vodafone Red postpaid customers upon the purchase of Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. However, users do need to opt for RED postpaid plans starting at Rs 999. The offer is valid for existing Vodafone RED customers as well as new customers, including those customers who are already enjoying a Netflix gift from Vodafone.

For prepaid customers, Vodafone will offer 10 GB additional data free with an unlimited recharge of Rs 199 or above for their next 10 recharges. However, it is important to note that the offer is valid until April 30, 2018.

Speaking about the offers, Avneesh Khosla, Associate Director – Consumer Business, Vodafone India said, “We are delighted to roll out this exciting offer to our customers on purchasing the next generation smartphone - Samsung S9. Increasingly, people are streaming content on the go and mobiles are becoming the preferred screen for entertainment. Vodafone strives to provide excellent value propositions to its postpaid and prepaid customers encouraging them to upgrade their smartphones for a superior voice and data experience.”

To recall, Samsung recently launched the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ in India. Both the smartphones will be available from March 16 and both of them comes in Midnight Black, Lilac Purple, and Titanium Gray colour options. Customers can pre-book the device at select retail stores, Samsung's official website and on Flipkart and Airtel Online Stores. The Samsung Galaxy S9 with 64GB storage option is priced at Rs 57,900, while the 256GB option comes with a price tag of Rs 65,900. The Galaxy S9+ is priced at Rs 64,900 for the 64GB storage variant, while the 256GB option is available at a price of Rs 72,900.
