MUMBAI: Viacom18’s OTT platform Voot is set to launch its tenth original series ‘Time Out’ on 28 November.
The six-episode series, which features Tahir Raj Bhasin and Sarah Jane Dias, is a romantic comedy of the married couple Rahul and Radha who are hit hard and fast on turning two to three unwarned.
The series will introduce the audience to a side of urban marriages where the couple has to deal with issues of responsibility – reliability – readiness.
This is Voot’s tenth original since its launch in May 2016. The platform has launched series such as ‘Shaadi Boys’, ‘Chinese Bhasad’, ‘Soadies’, ‘Badman’, Sinskari’, ‘It’s Not That Simple’, ‘Yo Ke Hua Bro’, ‘Stupid Man Smartphone’, and ‘Untag’.
Voot has a content library of close to 40,000 hours across Viacom18’s network content, content around content, Voot Kids and Voot Originals, the platform caters to varying needs of discerning audiences across segments. Operating currently as an ad-supported service in India, Voot has amassed over 40 million app downloads and over 25 million monthly active users.
Voot will launch its premium offering in mid-2018. The VoD service will also be launched internationally in the near future.
