General News Wildlife series ‘Dynasties’ to premiere on Sony BBC Earth, SonyLIV on 17 June

MUMBAI: India’s premium factual entertainment channel Sony BBC Earth and VoD platform SonyLIV are all set to premiere iconic wildlife series ‘Dynasties’ on 17th June at 9 pm.

Rated 9.3 on IMDb and presented by world-renowned naturalist Sir David Attenborough, Dynasties follows the lives of five of the world’s most celebrated but endangered animals – Emperor Penguins, Chimpanzees, Lions, Painted Wolves and Tigers.

With each episode shot over 3 years, the 5-episodic series chronicles how animal dynasties face challenges not only from within their species and rivals but also from environmental changes.

Influencers from various fields gathered to watch 2 episodes of this remarkable series on the big screen at INOX, the multiplex partner. Popular faces from TV and film fraternity like Jim Sarbh, Zareen Khan, Omung Kumar, Sushant Singh, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, Vivek Dahiya, Sanaya Irani, Mohit Sehgal, Karan Kundra, Anusha Dandekar, Shivin Narang, Tina Dutta and others like RJ Malishka and Prahlad Kakkar walked the red carpet to support this special series and show their love for nature and wildlife.

To promote a series of this scale and impact, Sony BBC Earth has deployed a massive on-air, in-cinema and digital campaign. The channel conducted an innovative consumer contest called #GreatIndianDynasties where people shared their family images with stories on what makes their families the ‘Great Indian Dynasty’. The channel is also hosting a special theatrical screening in 7 other cities – Delhi, Gurgaon, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Pune.
