The HP Slate seems to be better than the IPAD considering cost wise too HP is economical.

But it's battery backup is less , And I think Windows apps won't work smoothly in touch screen , because all apps are not designed to work in Touch screen devices

Since it is powered by google the functionality of the app should not have glitches I assume. Battery is a area where the IPAD has 1up.
