HTC launches Android-based Tattoo in India for Rs 16,990

<img style="float:left; margin:0px 10px 0px 0px;" src="http://i48.tinypic.com/dn1zf5.jpg" />HTC today introduced a new Android-based handset in the Indian market named, HTC Tattoo which offers the user to customize the handset.

The handset is positioned around three core principles of HTC Sense, Make it Mine, Stay Close and Discover the Unexpected. The handset has a 2.8-inch QVGA display, comes integrated with Google Search, Google Mail, Android Market, 3,2 mega pixel camera, 3.5 mm stereo headset jack and expandable microSD.

The handset is also being offered as part of a bundled package to Vodafone Essar subscribers. As part of the offer, Vodafone subscribers buying thehandset will be offered 20 MB of data per month free for 3 months. The offer is available till January 31, 2010.

It is available for a price of Rs 18,400 in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh and Rs. 16,990/- in the Rest of India.
