Help: Change in LCNs

Wef 31st Jan 14 ADTV going to change LCNs of english movie channels. Going to bring SD and HD versions together.
I dont understand why adtv is following tata(sky?
Are they planning a merger in near future?
They both have same suppliers of STBs and now their softwares and features are also similar.
