The much awaited HTC Desire HD will be expected to be available in India in last week of December at an approximate price tag of Rs. 32,000.Still HTC not yet announce the official launching date of this mobile phone. Few days ago we talked to HTC India support and as per the representative, the phone will be available at base price range of Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 32,000.Not a bad deal!

HTC Desire HD is the latest mobile phone from HTC Corporation features with Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8255 1 GHz processor along with Android OS, v2.2 (Froyo) operating system. For rich entertainment experience, the phone also features with Dolby Mobile and SRS sound enhancement. Phone has 4.3 inches capacitive touch screen and it comes with HTC’s own HTC Sense UI. One of the most desirable feature of this mobile phone, the HTC Desire HD has 8 MP autofocus camera with dual-LED flash with 720p (HD) video recording.

The HTC Desire mobile phone is already in Indian market at a approximate retail price tag of Rs. 27,000.If we compare this phone with the upcoming HTC Desire HD mobile phone, the main difference, its screen size, internal memory, camera and different processor (both the mobile phone features with 1 GHz processor). In battery case, the HTC Desire has Li-Ion 1400 mAh while the HTC Desire HD has Li-Ion 1230 mAh battery. According to reviews around the globe, the HTC Desire HD’s Li-Ion 1230 mAh battery is long lasting compare Desire phone because of optimised processor, LCD capacitive touch screen and some other optimisations.

With all the improved specifications and features, the phone will cost approximately Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 32,000.Still HTC India not yet officially announce this phone in Indian market. Few days ago, LG, Samsung and HTC announced the Gingerbread (Android 2.3) update for some of its mobile phone. In HTC case, the HTC Wildfire and HTC Desire are the phone to get the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update and hopefully the upcoming HTC Desire HD and HTC Desire Z will expected to get the Gingerbread taste too.

Let’s wait and watch.
