Bangalore: Changing your tariff plans and recharging your phones have also been a pain. Calling up the call center and waiting on the phone for a long time or walking into service centers and waiting in a huge queue was all so boring and time consuming. But that is all past now, not for all, at least for S Tel subscribers.

Keeping in mind the Gen Y, S Tel has newly launched a new self-recharge concept for its subscribers, which enables them to choose a plan of their own which will match their everyday budget. All they need to do is to activate a product code and "vala", their tariff is activated on their phones. The subscriber can just type *123*# to avail product benefit. The recharge amount will be then deducted from the core balance.

Aravind Santhanam, COO of S Tel said that the recharge option was so easy that any person from anywhere could change his/her plan on their fingertips. The recharge option not only takes care of their usage requirement but also gives them the convenience of a recharge option.

VK Rajkumar, chief sales and marketing officer of S Tel said that the consumer can also avail the recently introduced product FRC 108 which offers daily 10 minutes local call free for 30 days, with a talk time of Rs 20 and lifetime validity to the subscribers.

S Tel's customer will have to pay Rs 99 for this pack and will get Rs 60 talk time and a validity of 30 days.
