New Delhi, Feb. 5: Japanese carmaker Honda will make Thailand the export hub for its upcoming small car, according to a top official of its Indian subsidiary.
The company’s Indian subsidiary Honda Siel Cars India, is gearing up to launch the small car in the country in 2011, but will be focusing on the domestic market.
“India was never meant to be the export hub for the (small) car. India was meant to be the lead country in the manner the car is being designed for India just like Japan is the lead country for the Jazz and the US is the lead market for the Accord,” Honda Siel Cars India vice-president, Mr Jnaneshwar Sen, said
