Prius is a brand name in the hybrid car field and has given Toyota a respect for its environmental friendly efforts. This is a third generation Prius with many new improved features. Prius is totally different from the conventional electric cars and there are no hassles of an electric car. Prius is an intelligent mix of petrol and electric power. So no need to wait for the battery charging just pick up your prius key and enjoy as long as you have petrol in the tank.
Prius is not a colossal one but enough to satisfy. The prius has petrol engine, Toyota’s 1.8 litre VVT-i , similar to that of Corolla’s. Petrol engine generates power of 98 bhp while electric motor gives only 80 bhp. Important thing is that the electric motor acts as a generator while applying brake or whenever engines power is now going to wheels.
