I've been using Dish Tv for the last 7 years, Recently I wasnt receiving free channels like Mastii, Sony Mix etc... so called a technician to adjust the alignment of my antenna, the technician called me to my terrace to show me that the stand and the screws of the antenna have rusted and deterioted, he said that I'll have to put a new antenna which will cost Rs 750 and that I'll have to pay Rs 210 for the LNB, he later recommended that instead of buying a new antenna, its better to buy a new connection instead, which will cost me Rs 1200..
....the technician had visited me twice, once he tried to adjust the alignment, when it was raining heavily, in this process, I ended up getting no channels, neither paid nor free channels, he said that he'll come the next day, when the rain subsides...
What should I do?
...I still have a months' subscription active till August 24..

Its already now 4rth August Bro. Better you take a new connection bro. The price is almost the same. If u reside from West Bengal, Orissa, Assam, Maharastra u can also choose Zing Digital Dish's Sub brand. Very cheap, full of regional & FTA Channels. You decide. In case of rain, you will not receive any signal whatsoever. This is major draw back with all dths except Tata Sky to some extent. For Tata Sky unless it rains torentially signal does not go off............. But Tata Sky is too costly......... Anyway, take ur time & decide wisely.
