Hello Friends,
I am from Chennai and am trying to setup a FTA satellite dish for my flat.
I installed a 60 cm dish. I thought it would be easy to track NSS6 @ 95E satellite.
I tried to use the following:
Elevation: 67.0°
Azimuth (true): 130.6°
Azimuth (magn.): 132.4°
The azimuth must be more or less accurate in my setup. The elevation is more approximate. Anyway I have tried in tvain for days to get a signal. I do the signal strength in measure. But signal quality is 3 to 4%. Not able to get it past that no matter what I try. I try and track DD National (assuming that its the easiest to get signal.)
Not sure what the problem is. The STB is a simple Chinese make (called "Modern") and the dish antenna that I bought apparently is a Videocon one (not sure how the shopkeeper gets to sell these, though)
At the moment I have no clue how to proceed. Not getting any channel's signal. Maybe I am doing something wrong.
