Hi all i want to try my hands in this field so help me to align dish abs1 or any ku band SAT.
the equipment i have is d2h dish mpeg2 (old ddd+) set top box

HI and welcome to IDF.

Can I know from which place are you from.

If you are from Northern part of India, then you will get many channels. But if you are from South, then you will get only 10 to 11 channels, that too 80% of them are religious channels.

Then you will get lot more channels from ABS1.

What minimum satup required to get this and any other satellite i can get
i have got d2h dish and mpeg 2 stb old dd+

Videocon D2H dish and MPEG 2 FTA STB itself is enough to get ABS1 satellite as most of the channels on ABS1 are MPEG2 channels.
