IS-17 (Centre) & INSAT 2E (Side) – 180 CM dish- Qatar
Advertisement
#1
Yesterday I aligned my dish to IS-17 and I got all vertical TPs very good Signal.. But No signal for the Horizontal TPS !!!
I rotated my LNB all 360⁰ and checked BUT NO SIGNAL!!! :oooh no:
Then I installed a side LNB for Insat 2E, getting all channels.. But I lost Mazhavil manorama !!! :oooh noSad a fine tuning will give Mazhavil also)
So the only solution is a bigger (240 cm) dish to watch FTA Malayalam channels in Qatar.

Excellent Work Dilbino. +1 Smile
I tried to catch IS-17 on a 240 dish (Sub Lnb/Side LNB); but couldn't succeed. Currently using separate dishes for both...
But surely your dish's quality is superb compare to the one we get here.
Even on a 210cm dish (Main lnb) i am having problems with the 'H' frequencies of IS-17. Since last night i lost the Asianet/Amrita TP's... Sad

Insat2E was an excellent sat; surely its gonna hurt many unless IS-17 improve the signal/Quality before 2E dies and all channel moves to IS17..

Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.. for tomorrow never comes.. live today!!!

Excellent work.

I have heard from many of my friends, the signal for some of the TP's from Intelsat 17 is not that good.

Sometimes they lose signal for some TP's.

@AB
use side lnb for insat 2E and centre lnb for IS-17 with a 240 cm dish... you will get good signal..
no need 2 dishes.

Its not necessary you have to have the sat name, you may select any C'Band sat (Like Pas-10), Intelsat-10,,, etc, but will have to enter the TP and Symbolrate..., or do a blindscan, i am sure its there in XDSR400...
YOu will get all channels, provided the signal is OK..
regards,,,
